American idol Finalist Melinda Doolittle’s debut CD, Coming Back To You,
among your R&B must-haves. Melinda’s CD dropped on February 3, 2009 and it
is a Retro/Classic Soul smorgasbord!
Being true to herself as an “old school Motown-girl at heart”, Melinda has
given her fans a little something from all of her idols (just as she did
on the show). We hear in her voice and in the selection of songs a little
grit, a little honey, a little sass, a vulnerability and a boldness that
showcases her versatility.
On June 30th, a compilation CD for the eighth season of American Idol will be released exclusively to Walmart. This is the first time one of these has been released since season five & since the contestants began recording each week’s song.
