Mariah Carey previously delivered a strange speech on stage at 2010 Palm Spring Film Festival. She said “please forgive me, because I’m a little bit, um …” when collecting Best Supporting Actress Award for her role in movie “Precious: Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire”. An audience then yelled interrupting her “drunk!” to which she replied “Yeah!” with a laugh.

Mariah Carey looked more than a little tipsy last night as she accepted her Breakthrough Award at the Palm Springs Film Festival for her role as a mustachioed social worker in Precious.
“I’m a little…” Mariah slurred after squealing her way up to the podium.
You’ve really got to watch the clip to get the full effect, but we gotta wonder, Mariah was told she was getting this award at least a month in advance, so why would she purposely booze it up before her big moment?
